Sinfonia Introduces New Orchestra Program!

Introducing Philadelphia Sinfonia Strings!

EXCITING NEWS —
Launching Philadelphia Sinfonia Strings!

You asked and we listened! Due to high demand from teachers and students, Philadelphia Sinfonia is launching a new ensemble, Philadelphia Sinfonia Strings (PSS), that will serve students aged 10–16 who are not quite ready for our intermediate orchestra, but who are ready to build orchestral skills that will take them to the next level of playing in an advanced ensemble.

This group will rehearse for an hour and a half on Sundays from 1:00-2:30 PM and will be taught by
Beth Dzwil, a professional viola player and string pedagogue, along with special coaching by Maestro Gary White and Maestra Danielle Garrett.

Rehearsals will begin in October and go through mid-May. Over the course of the season, PSS will present two performances.

We encourage you and your students to take advantage of this exciting new educational opportunity.

Tuition: $700 for the season; need-based financial aid is available.
