47th ANNUAL NJ JAZZ RECORD COLLECTOR’S BASH

WHEN: Thursday evening through Saturday evening, October 27th thru 29th; Thursday, October 27th – 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Early Buyers Only); Friday & Saturday, October 28th & 29th – 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (General Public)
WHERE: Hilton Garden Inn, 50 Raritan Center Parkway, in Edison, NJ.
ADMISSION: General Admission: $22, all day & evening Friday & Saturday; $12, Friday evening after 5 p.m. + Saturday all day & evening; $42 for Thursday Evening Early Buyers, 8:00-11:00 p.m. + Friday & Saturday all day/evening

For more than 4 decades, jazz lovers throughout the U.S. and the world have made the pilgrimage to the Annual NJ Jazz Record Collector’s Bash in Central New Jersey. There, they’ve uncovered vintage 78s, LPs, 45s, cylinders, CDs, DVDs, books, sheet music, catalogs and other memorabilia.

Throughout the 2½ day event, collectors can riffle through thousands of items from 40+ vendors plus meet like-minded music aficionados.

In addition, on both Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening, jazz historians David Weiner, Mark Cantor, Will Friedwald and Steve Kramer will present vintage jazz programs featuring rare film and concert clips.

Vendors’ Fees: Tables are available on a first-come basis. Vendors can choose tables measuring either 6 feet x 3 feet or 8 feet x 3 feet. They cost:

• $98 per 6-foot x 3-foot table, or $110 per 8-foot x 3-foot table—for Thursday evening + Friday & Saturday all day/evening
• $65 per 6-foot x 3-foot table or $74 per 8-foot x 3-foot table for Friday all day & evening only
• $39 per 6-foot x 3-foot table or $46 per 8-foot x 3-foot table for Saturday all day & evening only

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your table(s). (On Friday, September 30th, the cost will rise to $110 per 6-foot x 3-foot table or $128 per 8-foot x 3-foot table for Thursday evening + Friday & Saturday all day / evening.)

Payment Methods: Advance payments can be made via check, money order or PayPal. Cash and checks will be accepted at the Bash itself for final payments. Contact njjazzbash@gmail for more details.
