HOME SCHOOL DAYS: SUDS AND BUBBLES

July 14

Let's have some good clean fun! You will use math, science, botany and creativity, to make your own bars of soap by choosing botanical add-ins, essential oils and dyes. Click here for more info!

Cost: $10 per child. Preregistration is required.

 

FOREST BATHING WITH RICH COLLINS, ANFT GUIDE

July 16 at Willowwood Arboretum and July 17 at Frelinghuysen Arboretum

Enjoy a combination of Japanese oriented walking, meditation, mindfulness, and wellness promotion. Wear comfortable shoes for walking.  Learn more here.

SUMMER SCAVENGER HUNT

July 19

The peak of summer is one of the best times to hit the trails and hunt for the wonders of nature. Join a naturalist on easy stroll through Pyramid Mountain to discover the secrets of the summer season. Find out more.

Cost: $5 per person. Preregistration is required.


CALLING ALL ARTISTS

September 18

Seeking various types of artists to interpret the natural and garden environment: watercolor, oils, acrylics, photography, sculpture, etc. Artists will be stationed around the grounds during the event. Bring your easel and supplies and create art based on the arboretum and its many plants during the course of the event. As you work, speak with visitors about your technique and sell your pieces, if desired. Sign up here!
