BONJ 2022 Summer Music Festival Opens Sunday, July 17
The 2022 Summer Festival will
feature two orchestra concerts, a new music concert, a cabaret, and a
symposium.
The Festival opens on Sunday, July
17 at 4:00 PM at The Madison Community Arts Center, 10 Kings Road, Madison, New
Jersey.
Like last summer, the concert is
free (donations welcome).
The concert will have limited indoor
seating, but will be fully open for outdoor seating as well, so bring a lawn chair and
enjoy the summer with great music.
Featured guest artist is Mexican
pianist Patricio Apaez performing Franz Joseph Haydn's
great Piano Concerto in D.
The concert will also feature music
by George M. Cohan, Giovanni Gabrieli, Johann Sebastian Bach,
Johann Pachelbel, and Antonio Vivaldi.
Following the concert, enjoy dinner
at one of the nearby great Madison restaurants, just a few blocks walk from the arts
center.

For the first time, The BONJ Summer
Music Festival will be spread out over the summer. The 2022 Summer
Festival will feature two orchestra concerts, a new music concert, a cabaret, and
a symposium.
The Festival will feature a special
symposium on Saturday, July 23, at 2:00 PM in collaboration with
Morristown National Historical Park at Washington's Headquarters
Museum, 30 Washington Place, Morristown, New Jersey. On display
will be a recently discovered letter from opera composer Richard
Wagner to King Ludwig of Bavaria. The event will include a recital of
Wagner arias with special guest Metropolitan Opera bass Harry
Dworchak and talks by Dr. Jude Pfister and Maestro Butts.

Sunday, July 31, at 4:00 PM at The Madison Community Arts Center, 10 Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey.
New chamber music works by David WIlliams, Michael DeMaio, Robert W.
Butts and others will be featured. All tickets: $20.

The popular BONJ Cabaret returns on
Saturday, August 13, at 7:30 PM at Grace Hall, Grace Church, 4 Madison Ave., Madison, New
Jersey. With cabaret seating and light refreshments (or feel free to
bring your own), enjoy selections from Broadway, opera, and the Great
American Songbook. All tickets: $25.

The Festival concludes on Sunday August
21, at 4:00 PM at The Madison Community Arts Center, 10 Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey.
