The family reunion returns! The O'Jays will reunite with Gladys Knight on
their final tour, Last
Stop on The Love Train. The legendary group, which includes
original members Eddie Levert, Sr. and Walter Williams, Sr. are hitting the
road with the same electrifying energy they’ve had for over 50 years.
The O'Jays helped form the soundtrack for the lives of several generations.
Few bands are as celebrated with inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall
of Fame, Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and the Official R&B Music Hall of
Fame. The O’Jays were at the forefront of seventies soul music. With a
lengthy string of R&B classics, including “Back Stabbers,” “Love
Train,” “For the Love of Money,” “I Love Music,” “Darlin’ Darlin’
Baby” and “Use Ta Be My Girl,” they helped put “Philly Soul” on the map.
Gladys Knight is a genuine living legend of American music. During her
illustrious career, she earned No. 1 hits on the pop, gospel, R&B and
adult contemporary charts. Knight’s singular songbook includes timeless
titles like “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Neither One of Us,” “License to
Kill,” “That’s What Friends Are For,” and a lot more. Her most recent
albums include Another Journey (her eighth solo effort), and an
inspirational gospel album, Where My Heart Belongs.
