The team that
created the SMASH HIT, The Other Mozart is in the
final stages of creating their new work, i am the utterance
of my name, which they have been workshopping while in residence
at the Bickford Theatre for the last two weeks. This new play with
live music explores the myth and history of one of history’s most
intriguing and vexing characters, Mary Magdalene.

of this stunning new work and engage in conversation with members of
the creative team in this free event! This new work will have its
world premiere right here at Live Arts at the Morris Museum in
12 years and older must provide proof of full vaccination, currently
2 shots of either Pfizer or Moderna, or one of Johnson and Johnson,
and corresponding ID. All patrons are required to wear a face mask in
the Bickford Theatre.
and Nathan Davis’ The Other Mozart, the play about the
genius sister of Amadeus, has toured the world and received critical
acclaim globally. Their performances of that work here at The Morris
Museum in 2019 are still talked about today. Don't miss your chance

Saturday: Argus Quartet Kicks Off the Back Deck Season!

third season of Lot of Strings is the Back Deck
debut of The Argus Quartet! The Argus Quartet is dedicated to
celebrating the artistic landscape of our time by drawing unexpected
connections across styles and centuries in order to foster community
amongst performers, audiences, and composers alike.
Each 8X8 block
is $50.00 and includes two patrons. Don’t forget, BYOB and BYO chairs
and picnics with live music under the sunset! In the event of
inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the Bickford Theatre.
All patrons will have to wear face masks while inside the Bickford
Theatre. An indoor picnic area will be provided if the concert is
moved inside. See June's concerts below.
Martin Pizzarelli returns to Jazz on the Back Deck after his SOLD-OUT
show last year! A member of New Jersey’s first jazz family, Martin’s
own impressive career as a bass player spans several decades and
includes dozens of record dates and hundreds of concerts around the
their “superb capacity to find the inner heart of everything they
play, regardless of era, style, or technical demand” (The
International Review of Music), the Tesla Quartet brings
refinement and prowess to both new and established repertoire. A
perennial favorite in Lot of Strings; Tesla will bring their
signature command of the medium for the third year in a row!
