This Week: WETLAND WEIRDOS May 16 Be it frozen frogs, busy beavers, or hunting herons; the creatures of the Great Swamp have some downright weird adaptations. Join us as we explore the wild ways that the wetland organisms have adapted to their environments with a guided walk and activities. Check it out! Cost: $5 per person. Preregistration is required.   INTRODUCTION TO BIRD SONG May 17 If you want to see the most birds on your spring bird walks, it's crucial to learn some of their songs. After discussing the reasons why birds sing and call, discover how to recognize many of the most common songs using easy memory devices.
