Friends,
As we continue to honor AANHPI Heritage month, I wanted to let you
know that my Broadway show “Allegiance” is back
on Broadway on Demand for a limited time only. The show
opened in November 2015, and while it closed far too soon, the
story it’s based on is timeless—my time spent in two Japanese
American internment camps as a child.
Available until July 6, “Allegiance” follows the Kimura family in
the years following the attack on Pearl Harbor, as they are forced
to leave their farm in Salinas, California and are sent to the
Heart Mountain Relocation Center in the rural plains of Wyoming.
I hope you will consider streaming
“Allegiance” during such a significant time for the
AANHPI community.
All my best,
Uncle George
