The play THE BUTCHER OF MAUTHAUSEN, in which the infamous
“Dr. Death” plays a pivotal role, tells the story of a Jewish family
hiding their identity to survive in Nazi Germany—and how they are
ultimately compromised and betrayed by Aribert Heim, the Butcher of Mauthausen.
Brennan Columbia-Walsh is a senior at Montclair Kimberley
