Days of Remembrance Commemoration

To honor victims of the Holocaust, we keep their stories alive and give voice to the six million Jews who were murdered. The program features survivors Irene Weiss and Marcel Drimer, who honor their family members, and reflections from Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat, Museum chairman.

First Person: Conversations with Holocaust Survivors

The only memories that Peter Gorog has of his father are from photos and letters his mother saved. In this monthly hour-long discussion with a Holocaust survivor, Peter will tell how, thanks to his mother’s resilience, he lived to be liberated from the Budapest ghetto in January 1945.
