From The National Yiddish Theatre: A Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Memorial

Join us this Passover season as we commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

On erev Peysakh, April 19, 1943, fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto began armed resistance against their Nazi captors, heroically holding them off for 42 days, becoming the symbols of all Jewish resistance during the Holocaust. We are here, commemorating the event. You can watch at any time on our website.

We present from 2018:
Camp Hemshekh
The 75th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
Memorial Program

Alumni of Camp Hemshekh, a summer camp for children of Holocaust survivors, re-enact the camp's annual "Ghetto Night" program of songs, poems, and recitations. Presented in English and Yiddish (with subtitles). You can watch at any time on our website.
