Dear
Friends,
Spring is inching closer every day! Though the early Star
Magnolia blossoms recently received what was hopefully the last
blast of frigid air, the buds on the cherry trees outside my
office window seem to get pinker by the day. We are keeping
a daily watch for just the right time to invite members for a
pre-opening preview.
All around, the garden is coming back to life after what always
feels like a long winter. Our award-winning Green Team
volunteers are already lending their time and energy to the
maintenance required to keep the gardens pristine. We are
also on the search for qualified seasonal part-time and full-time
gardeners and visitor services associates to ensure our visitors
have a memorable experience when they are here. If you or
someone you know would enjoy working in a beautiful, historic
setting with enthusiastic, productive colleagues and volunteers,
please share the links below for the descriptions of these
important roles.
A month from today, our new season begins. We look forward
to welcoming you then for a revitalizing stroll through our
ever-evolving landscape as well as for any of the illuminating
on-site tours, delightful concerts, and informative lectures we
have in store for you.
See you in the garden soon!
