THE
WANDERER
CONTINUES THROUGH APR 24
Dion DiMucci, an Italian American kid from the
Bronx, skyrocketed to fame as a teenage heartthrob in the
1950s and early ’60s with hits like “Runaround Sue,”
“Teenager in Love,” and “I Wonder Why.” Now, his
extraordinary true story comes to the stage in a moving and
intimate new musical about a life lived in the glow of the
spotlight and in the shadow of addiction.

SUMMER
MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP
Our Summer Musical Theater Workshop is an
enrichment program not to be missed. As a previous
winner of the Discover Jersey Arts People’s Choice
Award, the Workshop builds self-confidence in a fun,
safe, and exciting atmosphere. The
Workshop takes place at the theater and the
Paper Mill Studios in downtown Millburn. Performers
ages 9–15 will be offered live training in acting,
dance, and musical theater performance. The
camp-like program meets three days per
week—Tuesday through Thursday. No audition is
required to ensure that every child has an
opportunity to learn and grow, no matter their
experience or skill level. The program will culminate
in a sharing for parents on the final day of
instruction. Registration is now open.

DONOR
PROFILE
Charlie Perruzzi had Broadway performers as neighbors growing
up in Greenwich Village, which gave him first-hand
experience of what theater was like backstage and onstage.
Coming to Paper Mill was like coming home. He and his wife,
Sheila, subscribed when they moved from the Village to New
Jersey. Longtime theater lovers, they immediately felt a
connection to Paper Mill as having “Broadway in their
backyard.” After Sheila passed away, Charlie honored her
with a seat plaque where she sat next to him for decades.
He soon joined our Center Stage Society as a donor because
he loves the intimacy he feels at Paper Mill on every
level.
