                    WANDERER
BEGINS MARCH 24
Dion. One name set the standard of cool for a
generation. An Italian American kid from the Bronx, Dion
DiMucci skyrocketed to fame as a teenage heartthrob in the
1950s and early ’60s with hits like “Runaround Sue,”
“Teenager in Love,” and “I Wonder Why.” Now, his
extraordinary journey comes to the stage in a moving and
intimate new musical about a life lived in the glow of the
spotlight and in the shadow of addiction. Starring Mike
                    Wartella (Chasing Rainbows)
                    as Dion, Christy Altomare (Anastasia),
                    Joey McIntyre (Wicked, Waitress,
New Kids on the Block), and Kingsley Leggs (The Color
Purple, Sister Act). Choreographed by Sarah
O’Gleby and directed by Emmy nominated producer and
                    director Kenneth Ferrone. | | | |    | | | |

                        in April at the
Paper Mill Playhouse Theater School! Our collaborative
approach makes learning to perform fun—students of all
ages gain the skills and confidence to perform in front
of an audience. The communication skills you’ll learn
here will serve you well in any career you choose, from
Broadway to the boardroom. Classes for ages 5 and up.
                        Registration is now open. | | | | | |    | | | |

                        | Our Summer Musical Theater Workshop is an
enrichment program not to be missed. As a previous
winner of the Discover Jersey Arts People’s Choice
Award, the Workshop builds self-confidence in a fun,
safe, and exciting atmosphere. The Workshop takes
place at the theater and the Paper Mill Studios in
downtown Millburn. Performers ages 9–15 will be offered
live training in acting, dance, and musical theater
performance. The camp-like program meets three
days per week—Tuesday through Thursday. No audition
is required to ensure that every child has an
opportunity to learn and grow, no matter their
experience or skill level. The program will culminate
in a sharing for parents on the final day of
                        instruction. Registration is now open. | | | | | |    | | | |

Twenties at the F.M. Kirby Carriage House
Restaurant, and you have been invited to the hottest spot
in town: The Rotten Club! It’s a big night and everyone is
up to no good. Early Demise, the club owner, is on edge
because Mr. Big is back to check out the joint and make
sure Early is making his backer money. Early’s headliner
(and sometimes girlfriend), Bette, is scheduled to sing,
but Bette is too busy making eyes at the guests to perform.
To make matters worse, Early’s wife has decided that
tonight is the night to end Early’s “extracurricular
activities” with Bette and the bottle. It will take a
                    master detective and help from YOU to solve the mystery! | | | |    | | | |

PROFILEGina & Stuart Polevoy The Polevoys initially came to Paper Mill
separately as young teens. Gina came with her mom to
Thursday’s matinee and has had the same subscription seats
ever since. Stuart came with his parents after moving to NJ
from Queens in the 1960s. When they married, they kept the
tradition including taking their grandchildren. They
support Paper Mill as Center Stage Society donors because
“it’s a wonderful influence and great institution in New
Jersey and such a part of our lives. It represents a
                    personal connection. We feel a warm welcome from everyone.” | | | |    | | | |
