Dear Friend of American Theater Group:
We're excited to present an exciting new work for our next free play reading, Canned Goods by Erik Kahn at Fellowship Cultural Arts Center on Monday, March 21st, at 7pm. This searing, timely drama brings to life Hitler’s staging of a fake attack on Germany to justify his invasion of Poland in 1939. We're also thrilled to welcome Kristolyn Lloyd as Director. A Grammy and Emmy Award-Winning Actress, Kristolyn is currently starring in Confederates at Signature Theater in NYC. Her directing credits include Dainty (The Garden Workshop, Mosiac Theatre) Nick and The Prizefighter (Urbanite Theatre Modern Works Festival), A Patriots Place (B-Street Theatre, BOLD Festival) and Against Women and Music (The Civilians). Her acting credits include Dear Evan Hansen (Broadway), and Little Women (Primary Stages), Paradise Blue, The Liquid Plain (Signature Theatre), Heathers the Musical (New World Stages), and Cabin in The Sky (Encores City Center). She has appeared on television in “Random Acts of Flyness” (HBO), "Elementary," "Madam Secretary," "Kevin Can Wait” (CBS), “ER” (NBC) and “Lie to Me” (FOX) and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon's prestigious
drama program.
