This production is set in modern-day NYC and features projected images and video. 19th century and modern-day New York City have more in common than you’d think, and the bohemian lifestyle is just as vibrant and tragic. Come and be transported by a modern retelling of one of opera’s most enduring works.

The principal cast includes Molly Dunn (Mimì), Frederick Schlick (Rodolfo), Jason Detwiler (Marcello), Veronica Shea (Musetta), Suchan Kim (Schaunard), Chadol Kimn (Colline), Steven Fredericks (Alcindoro/Benoit), and Zachary Morehouse (Santa Claus); for the March 27 performance at SOPAC, David Smolokoff (Rodolfo) and Anna Woiwood (Mimì) will join the cast.

This is an innovative twist on Puccini’s classic and a must for anyone who enjoys classic opera or modern-day fun! Find out more about Bohème and reserve your tickets.
