Jersey City Theater Center in partnership with The Spot JC, Hudson County CMO, I Love Greenville, Ponce Bank, Coalition for Food and Health Equality officially launched the Spotlight arts program in mid-November with 30 students ranging in age from 9 to 20.

Spotlight, at its highest level, raises awareness of community healing, particularly from systematic racism and trauma, through the arts. We use the power of creative expression to help at-risk youth reduce feelings of isolation, abandonment, and fear often associated with living in a high crime, high poverty neighborhood.
