Preregistration is required.   MAPLE SUGARING FOR SEEDLINGS March 1, March 3, and March 10 Since the little ones are too young for our regular maple sugaring demos, the GSOEC is offering a special session just for them.  Enjoy a maple sugaring story and a walk and talk with a naturalist all about making maple syrup from trees. Check it out! Cost: $5 per child. Preregistration is required.   PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT: TEENY TINY March 1 - March 30 The gardens are waking up, and if you look closely, you’ll find plenty of very tiny signs of spring.  Flowers and plants are small at this time of year just in case there is one last spring snow. Break out your camera and maybe your magnifying glass in this contact-less family photo scavenger hunt. Sign me up! Cost: $10 per family (Family/group of 6 or less). Preregistration is required.

Spotlight On: BRANCHING OUT! Kids dig gardening! Kids will develop gardening skills while growing and harvesting fresh veggies in their own garden plots, make beautiful art with natural materials, create art with flowers, and explore the wider Frelinghuysen Arboretum and all its garden. Branching Out, for kids ages 6 -13 begins Saturday, April 9, and Garden Buds for kids ages 3 - 5 and their adult buddy begins Tuesday, April 19.
