The Metropolitan Museum of Art is launching a new podcast
series titled Frame of
Mind: An Art & Wellness Podcast, which features uplifting
stories from diverse individuals about how art supports their well-being,
especially during times of struggle and stress.
The first episode features siblings Samy Gálvez and Melina Anderson
Gálvez, who immigrated to the United States from Guatemala many years ago and spent much of their adult lives apart from each other and their
family. Hear how sending 100 postcards featuring artworks from The Met
fostered deeper communication and trust between the siblings.
