IN PERSON: CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY FOR ADULTS

Writing Auspicious Characters for the Chinese Lunar New Year. Join Ning He, Chinese teacher at the Millburn Institute of Talent and Livingston Huaxia Chinese School, for a Chinese calligraphy workshop. Registration is required - space is limited.

IN PERSON: TOYS SLEEPOVER

Monday, Feb 7 - 14

Bring a lovey/stuffed animal to the library, and we will place the toys on the library bookshelves for a nice relaxing good night's rest! We sure hope the stuffed animals don't get into any mischief while they are here, but if they do, we will let the kids know!! We may share photos on social media showing all the fun things the stuffed animals did during their sleepover! Kids can pick up their stuffed animals the next day or let them stay for a week-long hibernation. No registration needed.

Spice Kit for Adults

Stop by the Information Desk to pick up a pre-measured world spice or blend. You’ll get information on the spice as well as a recipe you can make at home.

This month: Gochujang


For Kids up to age 11: Stop by the Children's Desk for a magic color scratch Lunar New Year lanterns kit.

For Teens ages 12-17: Stop by the Information Desk for a mini paper lantern.

Take & Makes and Spice Kits available while supplies last. Only one take and make per person please. Millburn library cardholders only.
