Masquerade Quilt Project
"The
COVID 19 global pandemic, now approaching two years, impacted our
lives in ways we could never imagine. From dramatic to subtle,
fleeting to persistent, tragic to triumphant, wearing a face mask has
become the new normal. At the request of Frank Niccoletti, friend of
the West Orange Public Library, Nubian Heritage Quilters Guild
embarked on the "Masquerade" Quilt Project. Our Mask Parade
is composed of a garland of individual mask quilts, some whimsical,
others somber. There is light at the end of this pandemic. Protect
yourself and others; wear a mask."
