Visit SVP website Send SVP a Donation Follow SVP on Social Media ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌   Auditions at SVP Savannah Sipping Society   Audition Date Sunday, January 23, 2022 between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm   Synopsis: Four unique Southern women are drawn together by fate—and an impromptu happy hour—and decide it's high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they've lost through the years. Over the course of six months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle-aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover lasting friendships and a renewed determination to live in the moment—and most importantly, realize it's never too late to make new old friends.   Performance Dates: April 29, 2022 – May 15, 2022. Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm   Director Tori Clemens is seeking the following: Possibly 1 Adult Male as Grandma (can play 80-90) 4 Adult Females Ages 40-90   Character Gender/Age Range Description   Randa Covington: Mid to late 40s Perfectionist and workaholic, coping with a surprise career derailment. She has no life and no idea how to get one.   Dot Haigler: Mid to late 60s Dot is still reeling from her husband’s recent demise. She also faces the unsettling prospect of starting a new life from scratch.   Marlafaye Mosley: Mid to late 50s Earthy and boisterous, Marlafaye is a good ol' Texas gal. She has come to Savannah after losing her cheating husband. Wants to rebuild her life and get revenge.   Jinx Jenkins: Late 40s-early 50s Spunky. Offers her services as a much-needed life coach for the women. Blinded by her determination and efforts to give advice.   Randa's Grandmother: Late 80s-90s Grandmother of Randa who appears and dies. Elegant matriarch. Male or female.
