LENAPE LIFE

Get a feel
for what life was like for the Native Americans of NJ hundreds of years
ago! Tour our decorated model wigwam, try out stone and wooden
tools, learn the games Lenape children played, and try making a fire with
a bow drill. You can even make a game to take home! Learn more.

Using a
bunch of flowers from the supermarket, young arrangers will create a
centerpiece perfect for the center of the Thanksgiving table. We
supply the container, greens, and decorations. You supply your own

CIVIL WAR HOSPITALS
ON THE HOMEFRONT
Saturday, December 4
Step back in time with the 2D NJ Brigade to experience a Civil
War winter field hospital during the holidays. Through interaction with
reenactors and educators, learn how soldiers were cared for both on and off
the battlefield, and how civilians and farmsteads were intrinsic in their
survival and recovery. Take a wagon ride to the program! Check it out!
