PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT: THE SECRETS OF TREES

November 8 through November 30

Trees are shedding their leaves but are they shedding their secrets?  Explore the arboretum to find the big, the historic, and the most remarkable trees in this fun, family, non-contact photo scavenger hunt.  Click here to learn more.

Cost: $10 per family or group of 6. Preregistration is required.

THE SCOOP ON POOP!

November 9

Every animal poops!  But did you know that their poop can tell which animal was there, when it was there, and what they ate?  Learn the secrets of scat with a naturalist.  Check it out!

Cost: $4 per person. Preregistration is required.

 

ANIMAL ANTICS: TURKEYS

November 12

Gobble, Gobble! Learn all about our turkeys in this interactive class. Feed and water them and create a craft to take home.  Click here for more info.

LENAPE LIFE

November 21 and November 30

Get a feel for what life was like for the Native Americans of NJ hundreds of years ago!  Tour our decorated model wigwam, try out stone and wooden tools, learn the games Lenape children played, and try making a fire with a bow drill.  You can even make a game to take home!  Learn more.
