from the 2021 Jersey City Summer Youth Mural Arts Program.

Guggenheim fellow, and Downbeat’s Critics Poll top-ten guitarists alongside
luminaries Bill Frisell and Pat Methany, Rez Abbasi is one of the
most original voices on the current jazz scene. Here, Abbasi is joined by
French harpist Isabelle Olivier and percussionist Michael Sarin on global
jazz project, OASIS (Olivier Abbasi Sound In Sound).

Sylvana Joyce and The Momentare the winners of several
national and International performance and songwriting awards and have opened for acts like The Aristocrats, Nikka
Costa, and John Popper, and have been featured in The
Huffington Post and MTV.
18-week after-school program,
running between November 2021 and March 2022, focused on three artistic
areas: photography, film production, and theatre. During bi-weekly
sessions, youth will pair with professional artists who will mentor and
guide them through the technical processes of each art form and help
students build their unique artistic vision. SPOTLIGHT, which includes a
stipend for participation, will culminate in performances and exhibitions
of students’ original work at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City. Please
