Hoopla

Hoopla offers movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics, and video to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone. Access with your library card. There's never a wait list.

This week's featured Hoopla title is the audiobook of Kaleidescope by Brian Selznick. The new book from the author of Wonderstruck and The Invention of Hugo Cabret is a story about two people bound to each other through time and space, memory and dreams. Selznick wrote the book at the start of the pandemic when he was separated from his husband who was on lockdown on the other side of the country. The novel opens on the narrator's 13th birthday and he and his closest friend James set sail on a voyage of discovery. Follow their adventure here.
