WILD ANIMAL EXPERTS: CHIPMUNKS AND SQUIRRELS

After school is a great time to take a nature walk and discover new facts about New Jersey's wildlife. Join a naturalist to learn about this month’s animals: chipmunks and squirrels! Find out more.

Enjoy a combination of Japanese oriented walking, meditation, mindfulness, and wellness promotion. Wear comfortable shoes for walking. Click here for more info.

Scarecrows have returned to The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, and this year they help celebrate the Morris County Park Commission's 65th anniversary. Visit them all to see if your favorite park is represented. Check it out!

FALL FARM FUN

September 18 through October 23

Celebrate the fall season at Fosterfields! Take an open-air wagon ride around the farm and pick your own pumpkin in our brand-new pumpkin patch! Visit the farm and see corn grinding demos, butterchurning, cider pressing, and visit with all your favorite farm animals including the pigs, cows, sheep, goats, and chickens!  All activities are included with admission. Learn more!

LTS Nov-DecLEARN-TO-SKATE AT MENNEN SPORTS ARENA

November - December Classes

Mennen Sports Arena Learn-To-Skate class registration is now open for November-December classes! Learn-To-Skate group classes are for skaters age 4 through adult who are looking to learn how to ice skate. These classes are designed to teach the basic skating skills needed to confidently glide on the ice along with the skills necessary to progress into the sport of figure skating, hockey or speedskating. Learn-To-Skate classes teach the fundamentals of ice skating.  No prior ice skating experience is necessary to join the Learn-To-Skate program. Click here for more information and to register.
