Somerset Valley Players Schedule Auditions for The Hollow

WHEN: Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 7:00 pm
WHERE: The SVP playhouse at 689 Amwell Road (Route 514) in Hillsborough, NJ.
PERFORMANCE DATES: Weekends, beginning Friday, January 21, through Sunday, February 6. Fridays/Saturdays at 8 pm; Sunday matinees at 2 pm.
An unhappy game of romantic follow-the-leader explodes into murder
one weekend at The Hollow, home of Sir Henry and Lucy Angkatell. Dr. Cristow,
the Harley Street lothario, is at the center of the trouble when, assembled in
one place, we find his dull but devoted wife Gerda, his mistress and prominent
sculptor Henrietta, and his former lover and Hollywood film star Veronica.
Also visiting are Edward and Midge, whose romantic assertions are likewise
thrown into the mix. As the list of romantic associations grows, so does the
list of potential suspects when Cristow is shot dead. Nearly everyone has a
motive, but only one of them did the deed.

is seeking the following:
- 6 Adult Males Ages 20's+
- 6 Adult Females Ages 20's+
All roles are open to any ethnicity.
MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN INSIDE THE PLAYHOUSE.
Special Notes for
Auditioners:
- Readings will be from the script.
- Please dress in comfortable clothing for improvisational exercises.
Rehearsals will start the week of October 25th and are planned two or three times per week.
