Brook Arts Center in Bound Brook Wraps Up Summer Season with a Weekend of Stand-up Comedy and Music!
WHEN: Friday, September 24, at 8:30 PM and Saturday, September 25 at 8 PM
WHERE: Brook Arts Center, 10 Hamilton St., Bound Brook
On Friday, September 24, at 8:30 PM, three of New York's most hilarious comedians, Kyle Ocasio, John Moses, and Adam Oliensis, will take the stage!
Kyle Ocasio, nicknamed "the reluctant woman and
mother" by his comedic peers, expresses the frustration and confusion of
her everyday life that helps her connect with any audience. The comedy of
John Moses is on the edge, and the edge is just between the genius of evil and
the uncontrollable laugh. It is
smart; it is controversial; it is off the funny wall! Adam Oliensis is
attuned to the absurdities that arise in daily life, exploring both the irony
and silliness that exist in the most humiliating situations and bring it to his
comedy.
On Saturday, September 25, at 8 PM, one of Steely Dan's most sought-after tribute groups, The Royal Scam, performs in concert.
Touted by NJ Monthly as one of the Top 10 tribute bands, the band's stellar musicianship and attention to detail have garnered them a large and loyal following and sold-out venue since 1992. Royal Scam creates an inspiring and compelling music experience and is consistently top-notch and professional.
