Learn how real animals produce bioluminescence and be dazzled by an array of precious jewelry inspired by animals of land, air, and sea. Both exhibitions are on display until early September. From fireflies found in backyards across the Northeast to the deep-sea fishes that illuminate the perpetually dark ocean depths, discover how light is used to attract a mate, lure unsuspecting prey, or defend against predators in the immersive exhibition Creatures of Light.

Beautiful Creatures Closes September 19

Beautiful Creatures presents more than 100 animal-themed precious jewels created by the world’s great jewelry houses and artisans, from Cartier's iconic panthers to Suzanne Belperron's butterflies. Beautiful Creatures is free with admission, which is free for Members, as part of the redesigned Allison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals.
