Steely Dan will perform a four-night residency at MPAC! Each night the band will perform from a different classic album: The Royal Scam (Nov. 3); Gaucho (Nov. 4), selected hits from Northeast Corridor: Steely Dan Live!, their soon to be released greatest hits live album (Nov. 6), and Aja (Nov. 7).

Ticket price is per individual show. Each show sold separately.

Join us this summer for Arts in the Community, our FREE summer event series! With our Arts in the Community program we continue our commitment to providing creative arts programming to spaces outside of the Theater. We strive to be inclusive and to provide opportunities for local and emerging artist to perform, network and express themselves.

Salsa Under The Stars With Banda Ritmo Cubano

 

Wednesday, August 4, at 6:30 pm

 

Location: Vail Mansion Plaza

 

 

Banda Ritmo Cubano’s musicians have played with a virtual who’s who of Latin music including Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Willie Colon and the Broadway show Hamilton. Specializing in a tight Latin band sound from solo guitar to a full size salsa band, the group plays top hits and classic Latin favorites including Cuban, Puerto Rican and Dominican specialties.

How did a romantic trip to Montego Bay lead to the release of a Bob Marley tribute album 40 years after his passing? Join Acute Inflections, New York’s sultry duo, as they perform jazzy versions of Marley’s hits and tell the story of how they re-discovered his music and message.

Singer/songwriter Nahscha classifies herself as a mix between pop-soul and R&B. Nahscha believes that music is a universal language, and the best way to communicate to people. Spending a lot of her time singing on the streets and subways of New York City as a busker, she has found that singing in public settings creates organic moments and makes people happy.

Laurel Canyon: A Tribute To Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

 

Thursday, August 5, at 7:30 pm

 

Location: MPAC Mainstage

 

Laurel Canyon is an acoustic tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Consisting of Grammy Award winning writer/producer Mark Hudson, Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr, and singer songwriter Mark Mirando, the trio performs recreations of CSNY's seminal works as well as songs from their early bands and their solo years. This show will be performed at MPAC and livestreamed for home viewing.

The Jersey Tenors are the newest opera/rock mashup sensation, highlighting the music of home state heroes like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Frank Sinatra, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Kool and the Gang, along with other pop favorites and a few iconic opera classics in the mix as well.
