Philadelphia Sinfonia accepts musicians by audition. Placement in our orchestras
is determined by the audition. We have openings in
most sections and encourage all instruments to
apply!
- Philadelphia Sinfonia
(PS) – advanced full symphony orchestra, conducted
by Gary D. White
- Philadelphia Sinfonia
Players (PSP) – advanced-intermediate full symphony
orchestra, conducted by Danielle Garrett
- Philadelphia Sinfonia
Chamber Orchestra (PSCO) – advanced string
orchestra, conducted by Gary D. White
AUDITION BY
VIDEO on a rolling basis throughout the summer and early
fall. First register online, then we will
provide a link for you to submit your pre-recorded video audition when
ready. The deadline for video auditions is Sunday September 5.
AUDITION IN
PERSON on Saturday September 4 or Sunday September 5.
Register online, select your date availability, and we will confirm
your audition time. Auditions take place at St. Stephen's Episcopal
Church, 19 S. 10th Street, Philadelphia.

May, and take place at

We are planning live rehearsals in the fall, with masks and social
distancing.
Virtual option may be available for the month of September.
