Smithsonian Spark!Lab
Beginning on Friday,
September 24, 2021
We are thrilled to launch
Spark!Lab, a Smithsonian-designed education space that
inspires young visitors to create, collaborate, and innovate.
Every Museum visitor
and their young inventor (ages 5-12 years old) will have a chance
to experience Spark!Lab that offers a new informal
approach to hands-on learning.
Spark!Lab at the
Morris Museum is made possible by leadership support from
BASF. Generous support is also made possible by Gay H.
Osborn on behalf of the Blanche and George Jones Fund, Inc.

Opening this Month: On
and Off the Streets
On View September
24, 2021–February 27, 2022
On and Off the Streets: Urban Art
New Jersey is the first museum
exhibition to examine the duality of New Jersey artists, whose
creative versatility extends from the street to the studio.
This exhibition is
a long overdue homage to the rich talents of these urban artists
and their vital contribution to New Jersey’s creative spirit. It
features murals and studio work by Catherine Hart, Clarence Rich,
Emilio Florentine, Joe Iurato, Layqa Nuna Yawar, LUV1, Mr
Mustart, RH Doaz, RORSHACH, and Will Power, and a special
installation of work by Newark-based street art-legend, Jerry
Gant (1961-2018).
Purchase your tickets
when you arrive or click here to purchase tickets online.
Generous support for this
exhibition is provided by the Joseph Robert Foundation and Loop
Colors.

September on the Back
Deck
September might be the
last month of the Back Deck season, but we have saved the best
for last. Dan Levinson returns with a stellar program
that pays homage to the legendary early jazz greats with his
signature mix of musicianship, charm, and insight.
Other highlights include
Adrienne Haan Cabaret, Tesla Quartet, and Martin Pizzarelli!
