Creativity and
laughter filled the museum this summer with camps for kids and
classes for teens. Classes are offered year-round and continue
this fall for kids who are exploring new
materials and teens who are looking to expand or refine
their skills. Kids ages 6-12 will
have the opportunity to experiment in a range of media in classes
such as Studio Explorers: Weave Together, Ceramics hand-building
and wheel-throwing, Print Power, and Digital Animation. Teen classes for
ages 12-15 include Digital Drawing, Oil & Acrylic Easel Painting, and a new Think Like An Artist class designed
for students ages 13-18 who want to learn how artists generate new ideas
and create a cohesive body of work.
We offer classes and weekend workshops for adults in
a variety of mediums, both traditional and experimental,
including new classes in weaving, embroidery, and art collecting
taught by local experts in their field. We have something for every
level of art experience from beginners exploring their creativity
with the Art Sampler for the Non-Artist to Advanced Landscape Painting where
accomplished painters can perfect their skills.
