EXPRESSIONS OF NATURE

Last week to
apply! Seeking various types of artists to interpret the natural and
garden environment: watercolor, oils, acrylics, photography, sculpture,
etc. Artists will be stationed around the grounds during the event. Bring
your easel and supplies and create art based on the arboretum and its
many plants during the course of the event. As you work, speak with
visitors about your technique and sell your pieces, if desired. Apply here!

Adopt-A-Trail—Trail Fun
Series Volunteer Trail Work
Saturday, August 21
Expect to
get dirty and have a ton of fun learning hands-on trail building and
maintenance techniques for a brand-new trail proposed by JORBA at Tourne
County Park. Bring gloves, something to drink, and wear sturdy
footwear suitable for doing trail work outside. Trail work is hard
work, but very rewarding. Nothing beats hiking, running, cycling,
or walking on a trail that you had a hand in constructing! Click here to learn more!
