Fall Classes in Mixed-Media Abstracts

CLASSES IN MIXED-MEDIA ABSTRACTS       Starting on Friday, September 24th, 2021, I will be teaching classes in Mixed-Media Abstracts for the Livingston Arts Association's fall season. Activities will include: MIXED-MEDIA ABSTRACT PAINTING ASSEMBLAGE ART COLLAGE ALTERED BOOKS ABSTRACT SCULPTURE PLUS: Design and composition Classic abstract layouts Working with shapes Stamps and stencils Creating texture Selecting the right colors Mark making Working with focal points Analyzing and improving a work Layering Working with found objects Asemic writing Reverse collage Displaying work WHEN: 12 Fridays, 1:00-3:30 p.m.: September 24 October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November 5, 12, 19, 26 December 3, 10, 2021 WHERE: Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue, Classroom #3, Livingston, NJ 07039 FEE: $180 To register, or for more information, please call Vivian Laska at 973-984-8178. ABOUT EVAN STUART MARSHALL Evan Stuart Marshall is an award-winning mixed-media abstract artist known for his striking, vividly colored paintings. His work has been featured in many juried exhibitions, both solo and group, and is held in private collections around the world.
