Haan Cabaret Français—A Tribute to the French Chanson

an effervescent and celebrated international entertainer, performs
a diverse and multilingual repertoire. Cited as “the first lady
of cabaret” by Wolf Entertainment Guide and “New York’s most
exciting cabaret star today” by the New York Concert Review, her
performances have garnered numerous standing ovations, most
notably at Carnegie Hall, Ravinia Festival, and concert
halls around the world. A resident of New York City, Adrienne is
artist-in-residence at the renowned Triad Theatre in NYC where
she has enthusiastically been received by NY audiences for 5
uniquely crafted Cabaret Français features classics by Edith Piaf,
Charles Aznavour and Jacques Brel, and introducing lesser known
works such as 1920s and 1930s French chansons by German Jewish
composer Kurt Weill and Austrian Jewish composer Walter Jurmann.
It also includes contemporary pop- jazz songs originally
performed by the French star Patricia Kaas and French Canadian
singer Isabelle Boulay. Cabaret Français is an entertaining and
elegant soirée of the highest caliber. Distinctive
interpretations of these classics were arranged to compliment
her unique stage presence and vocal prowess.

Martin Pizzarelli put together a special program of hand-picked
tunes that pays tribute to his father, guitar legend Bucky
Pizzarelli. A member of New Jersey’s first jazz family, Martin’s
own impressive career as a bass player spans
several decades and includes dozens of record dates and hundreds
of concerts around the globe in various formations,
often accompanying his father. Among his peers, he is
considered one of the most swinging bassists on the scene and a
“keeper of the flame” who masters the style like no
one else today.
