Fridays through July and August

Join the Fosterfields Farmers every Friday in July and August to get the inside scoop on what goes on at the farm.  Activities include garden tours, special farm animal visits, or antique farm machinery demonstrations.  There's something new each Friday!  Program included with general admission.  For more info, click here.

VIRTUAL AWESOME ANIMAL ARTISTS

July 14

Learn to draw a NJ native animal and create your own masterpiece in this virtual program!  Guess the animal of the month with clues, then learn all the facts about this animal's life before learning to draw it using simple shapes and lines, guided by Miss Jenny.  You'll be amazed at what you can do!  Check it out!

WHAT’S IN BLOOM TOUR OF THE FRELINGHUYSEN ARBORETUM

Explore The Frelinghuysen Arboretum with Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education, on this guided tour of the gardens and grounds.  Enjoy the ever-changing beauty each month. Learn more.

ARTISTS WANTED FOR EXPRESSIONS OF NATURE

September 12 – Register by August 16

Seeking various types of artists to interpret the natural and garden environment: watercolor, oils, acrylics, photography, sculpture, etc. Artists will be stationed around the grounds during the event. Bring your easel and supplies and create art based on the arboretum and its many plants during the course of the event. As you work, speak with visitors about your technique and sell your pieces, if desired.  Apply here!
