LPL News ALERT: Important Reopening Information!
We’re back!
The Library is now fully open to the public for normal operating
hours, 7 days a week. All library services have been fully restored
to pre-COVID levels.
Patrons can
now use the private study carrels and rooms, gather alone or in
groups, or catch up and socialize in the re-opened adult seating
area. All technology based services will now be available as well,
including computer use, scanning, faxing, copying and printing.
Library staff members are on hand to help with all of your needs.

In addition,
the Library is excited for the full re-opening of the Youth Services
wing, just in time for Summer Reading! Everyone from babies to teens
will be able to enjoy the wing while browsing materials and getting
help from our knowledgeable team of librarians. Make sure to register online to be a part of our Tails & Tales Reading
and Kindness Challenge!
If you are
missing in-person programs, don’t worry! Several in person programs
will resume including, movies, storytimes, and crafts. Some
programs will remain virtual to fit your new lifestyle and
accommodate those who are not comfortable attending in person.

The Library
continues to maintain high standards of cleaning and sanitation to
help prevent the spread of COVID. While masks are no longer required
per the state of NJ, we do request that all patrons consider choosing
to wear a mask to protect children and other unvaccinated individuals
who may be in the Library. Masks are required for all patrons
attending indoor programs for children age 11 and under. Please view
our temporary PPE and Code of Conduct
Policy for all of the details. For more information about
programs or COVID safety protocols, visit the Library online or call (973) 992-4600. Just as the
Library was here for the community during the dark days of the
pandemic, we will be here again for the lighter and brighter times
ahead.
Welcome
back! We can’t wait to see you!
Best,
Amy Babcock
