Fragile Freedoms: Maggie Meiners Revisits Rockwell
On View

As timely and thought provoking as it gets. This exhibition reimagines the iconic work of Norman Rockwell through the lens of modern America. With stunningly vivid detail, Maggie Meiners’s carefully constructed photographs turn nostalgia on its head and rework Rockwell’s familiar imagery to address contemporary issues including racism, sexuality, gender roles, and the impact of technology.

spring annual fund

When we couldn’t welcome you here, Montclair Art Museum was there for you.

When our community was impacted by financial hardships, MAM expanded its Community Access free admission program.

When food insecurity grew in our community, the MAM Art Truck delivered meals to residents in need in partnership with Toni’s Kitchen.

When first responders and front-line workers were working tirelessly for our community, MAM donated PPE from our conservation department and offered free memberships.

Join our efforts to connect community. Donations will be DOUBLED through May 31.
