Naturalist Bill Lynch will lead us
through the meadows and forest edges of Bamboo Brook as we search for both
spring migrants and breeding birds. Songbirds love the transition between
forest and field, and use the treetops to sing their hearts out to potential
mates. Check it out!

BORN TO BE SHORN

It’s time for a haircut! Visit
Fosterfields and watch master shearer, Margaret Quinn, demonstrate how to

FLOWER ARRANGING FOR
MOM
May 4 and 5
VIRTUAL FLORAL ARRANGING WITH SUPERMARKET FLOWERS FOR MOTHER’S
DAY – Adults.
Ann Fahey, Superintendent of
Horticulture Education, will demonstrate how to make a simple supermarket
bouquet into a gift-worthy Mother’s Day arrangement. Bring your own
bouquet and work along at home to make your own arrangement, while learning tips
and tricks of the trade. Click here for

person. Preregistration is required. FLOWERS FOR MOM: ARRANGING WITH SUPERMARKET FLOWERS FOR KIDS –
Ages 7 – 12.
Using flowers from the
supermarket, young arrangers will create a centerpiece perfect for the most
important “mom” in their lives. A container, greens, and
decorations are provided and must be picked up prior to class. Bring
