The Theater Project Slates First Event of the New Year

... and we're back!

In 2021 as in 2020, we are committed to bringing our audiences virtual versions of virtually all our programs—we will do whatever it takes!

Please join us for the first event of the new year:
January 16, 2 PM

Opening Nights in the Afternoon

Readings of new plays from our playwrights workshop followed by discussion with the author.

Wolf and Badger
by Michael John McGoldrick

One brother is ready to leave their troubled home, the other resents his escape. Into this combustible mix comes a drug-addicted friend who tells a not-entirely-believable story about how to make some quick cash.

A finalist in the 2018 Trustus Theatre Playwrights Festival, Wolf and Badger will be produced by the Main Street Players in Miami, Florida later this year.

Michael John McGoldrick, an award-winning playwright and an alum of The Theater Project’s workshop, earned a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from Arizona State University. His work has been produced by theaters and festivals in New York, around the United States and in Canada. His other plays have received staged readings from Questors’ Theatre (London), New Jersey Repertory Company, The Monarch Theater, Sundog Theater, Strange Dog Theater, Now and Then Creative Company, The Jersey City Theater Center, Permafrost Theater Collective and The Theater Project. He is a member of the American Renaissance Theater Company in Manhattan.
