Announcing a New Concert Series from RVCC

Music of Catalonia WHEN: Sunday, November 8, at 2PM WHERE: a Zoom webinar RVCCArts is pleased to join the RVCC Arts and Design Department in offering its new MOSAIKA Concert Series, a series of virtual concerts suited to the time.  The concert is dedicated to the music of Catalonia. With a distinct history stretching back to the early middle ages, Catalonia has given the world many important artists. Despite more than a thousand years of political flux in the region, Catalonia has long maintained its own unique culture and language. While the music of Catalan composers is still comparatively unknown in American concert halls, this program will give center stage to compositions by several its most dynamic living composers, showcasing the rich traditions, vibrant colors, and fiery passion of its proud people.  (read more and register)
