Women's Suffrage Mural Project Grant Request for Proposals

Women's Suffrage Mural

The New Jersey State Council on the Arts seeks an experienced public art partner to engage in the creation of a mural arts initiative celebrating the 100th anniversary of the vote for women's suffrage. The grant is intended to either supplement the cost of a mural initiative already in development which aligns with the spirit and intention of celebrating women's suffrage, or to fund the creation of a new mural project developed specifically for this funding opportunity.

The Council is very interested in a project that engages the community and recognizes the current health crisis posed by COVID-19. The organization should consider ways to engage the community that may require new ways of interacting with the project, including social distancing and/or virtual or online programs.
