All our weekly events are available on  Facebook and YouTube. We cannot wait to be back together again soon, but until that day comes, enjoy these free events, only accessible to the public for a limited time!

 

Monday, September 14 – New Voices 2000 

The annual New Voices concert is the culmination of Paper Mill Playhouse’s Summer Musical Theater Conservatory, featuring 120 talented student performers ages 10–18, directed and choreographed by Paper Mill Playhouse’s professional artistic staff.

 

Wednesday, September 16 Babbling by the Brook

Join Paper Mill’s own Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee for lighthearted, entertaining conversations with a star-studded roster of performers, writers, directors, and more theatrical denizens. Gain insight into our upcoming productions, delve into the creative process, and catch up with veteran actors! This week join Tony-nominated scenic designer David Korins (Bandstand, Hamilton, Beetlejuice).

 

 

 

JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE

 

 

This month, remember the life and legacy of Representative John Lewis—Freedom Rider, congressman, Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree, and the conscience of a nation. Join audiences from across the country for a nationwide watch of the riveting new documentary John Lewis: Good Trouble on Monday, Sep 21, at 7PM, followed by a live virtual panel featuring the film’s director and civil rights advocates as they talk about Lewis’s legacy of fearless protest and how we can keep his campaign for justice alive.

 

 

 

 

BROOKSIDE CABARET AND FINE DINING

The Carriage House Restaurant at the F.M. Kirby Carriage House has live cabaret performances every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7PM. Come enjoy a cool breeze by the brook, fine dining outdoors, and live entertainment!

 

Nicholas Rodriguez

 

WEDNESDAY—NICHOLAS RODRIGUEZ

 

Mr. Rodriquez starred in Paper Mill’s production of Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn and has had an extensive career on Broadway, film, and the concert stage. He recently toured the US as Captain Georg Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. See a clip of Nicholas Rodriguez in concert at the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis as part of the MUNY Magic cabaret series.

 

 

Kyle Taylor Parker

 

THURSDAY—Kyle Taylor Parker: An Evening of Broadway Soul

 

Mr. Parker starred in the world premiere of My Very Own British Invasion at Paper Mill in 2019. He has appeared on Broadway in Kinky Boots and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as in national tours of Kinky Boots (IRNE Award, best visiting actor) and In the Heights. He’s currently working on a follow-up album to his debut Broadway Soul, vol. 1. 

 

 

Gavin Lee

 

SATURDAY—Gavin Lee: Steppin’ Out with Fred Astaire

 

Spend the evening with Broadway’s Gavin Lee. The two-time Tony nominee, who starred as Lumiere in Paper Mill’s 2019 Beauty and the Beast, is excited to sing and dance his way through the celebrated life of his favorite movie musical icon!

 

 

 

 

The Carriage House Restaurant opens for alfresco dining at 5PM, including high-top seating for small plates and cocktails.
