HUNTERDON ART MUSEUM RE-OPENS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC

To Our Visitors,

We are thrilled to be reopening Hunterdon Art Museum’s doors and look forward to welcoming you back!

If you were unable to see our spring shows or want a second look, please come by to see three beautiful exhibitions: Explorations in Felt, Gloria Ortiz Hernandez and Lorraine Kisly: Art & Design, and Yael Eisner: Member Highlight.

Explorations in Felt features 25 artists from around the world and shows the incredible depth and breadth of work created with felt. With an emphasis on two-dimensional work, sculpture and non-traditional wearables, the exhibition looks at the varied ways artists use felt today. Gloria Ortiz-Hernandez and Lorraine Kisly: Art & Design highlights the drawings of Ortiz-Hernandez and the ceramics of Kisly along with the furniture they create together. In the third show, Yael Eisner: Member Highlight, we share Eisner’s photographs that reflect the dichotomy of living six months of the year on land and six months at sea. Eisner won the solo show in our 2018 Members Exhibition.

Please keep in mind that our hours have changed. HAM is now open Thursdays through Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 pm. with Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon reserved for seniors and immunocompromised visitors. That is just one of the protocols we have instituted to help keep you safe.

I hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

 Marjorie Frankel Nathanson

Executive Director
