Story Magic with the Writers Circle

Ages 5-10

Through group dynamics, imaginative prompts and role-playing exercises, students learn the basic elements of story creation and put their inspirations on paper. Children gain confidence in a fun, non- judgmental environment where everyone supports one other’s ideas. The goal is to ignite the creative spark by temporarily casting off academic requirements. Magical Melodies with Mr. Chris

Mr Chris has been creating dance parties around the Bergen County area since 2016! He is known for his high energy performances that get everyone dancing, kids and adults alike! His passion for music and making people happy is palpable at every show he plays! Whether jamming on guitar, leading a parade with the trombone, or just being silly, Mr Chris always gets the party started and keeps it rocking! Let loose your creative side! Join us for an hour of improv talent and show us what you got. Sing, recite, monologue -you do you!

Rules:

  • the time limit is 5-7 minutes max
  • no inappropriate language -keep it clean
  • clearly state the author/artist of the piece -including yourself
  • have fun!

College Prep: Excel for STEM Majors

High school students will gain the basic Excel knowledge essential to succeeding in college STEM majors. This webinar will cover creating spreadsheets, organizing and analyzing data in Excel by incorporating the most widely used formulas, formatting, charts and pivot tables. Presenter Alex Lobzhanidze holds a B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Publishing Profitability from New York University. He is the College Business Manager at book publishing firm, W.W.
