Giving Back to Our First Responders

Last weekend, MAM partnered with Glen Ridge Congregational Church to create care packages for doctors, nurses, and other first responders at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Hospital.

GRCC has been sending care packages of energy drinks and power bars to help the hardworking hospital staff keep up their energy. MAM wanted to make those packages a little sweeter by adding jigsaw puzzles and Family Memberships.

"We have the most generous trustees and they are always on the lookout for ways support our mission, especially in this difficult time," says Beth Hart, Director of Development at MAM (above, left).

"Two of our trustees—Susan Brady Abadan and LisaMarie Dias—funded the production of jigsaw puzzles inspired by our Federico Uribe: Animalia exhibition. Sam Joseph, another trustee, then purchased 100 of those puzzles to add to the care packages. And Development threw in 100 Family Memberships!"

Beth adds, "This is our way of saying thank you to those who are putting themselves at risk every day for the greater good of our community."
