Theater Creations 2020

Calling all 7- to 11-year-olds who love performing!

Come and be part of The Chatham Community Players Theater Creations.

WHEN: Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 am to 12 noon.

Young actors will learn the fundamentals of acting onstage while using their imaginations and artistic creativity to develop their very own play!  Through various games and exercises, kids will also learn about different theatrical elements and how they are used to shape a performance.

An original script will be created using the kids' chosen storyline and characters.

This work will be rehearsed and ultimately presented on the Chatham Playhouse stage in a full performance with no scripts in hand for family and friends.

TUITION: The two-week camp is only $325 per person. Price includes a copy of the final show and a Theater Creations T-shirt.

More information about the creative director, refunds and health and safety is available on our website.

We know our whole world, including theater, currently looks a little different than years past. Now, with so much uncertainty and stress in our lives, we are striving to give artists the space to create and audiences the space to escape, in whatever capacity we are able to. We are grateful to our directors above who continue to work on creative solutions in hopes of bringing Jersey Voices to life this year. For so many, including myself, Jersey Voices is a bright spot in the theatrical year and we are confident it will continue to be so in the years to come.

As things are ever changing, please continue checking our website, ChathamPlayers.org, and our Facebook page for updates on this year’s production as we have them.
