Who's Not in the Picture?

The Frick hosted a panel in 2019 examining histories of visibility, representation, and exclusion in Western art. One of the panelists, Risham Majeed, recently published a article with co-panelist Blake Bradford on related issues in Art Journal Open entitled "Just Being," a comparative critique of the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the Equal Justice Initiative's Museum and Memorial.
